  • Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years
    (Upper age limit relaxable up to 26 years for candidates with a valid Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India))

  • Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years

Educational Qualification

Branch Qualification
Flying Graduation (any discipline) with minimum 60% marks and Physics & Maths at 10+2 OR BE/BTech with 60%
Ground Duty (Technical) 10+2 with 60% in Physics & Maths + 4-year Engineering/Technology degree in relevant branch
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks (Admin/Logistics); B.Com with 60% (Accounts)
Meteorology Post Graduation in relevant discipline (see notification)
NCC Special Entry (Flying) NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate + Flying branch eligibility

Selection Process

  1. Written Exam (Online)

  2. AFSB Interview (Air Force Selection Board)

  3. Medical Examination

For Flying Branch, CPSS (Computerized Pilot Selection System) test is mandatory.
