The motor is paired with a 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch) automatic transmission, sending power to the front wheels via an electronic limited-slip differential.
With a 0-100 km/h time of just 5.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h, the Golf GTI is built for performance lovers. While the even more aggressive Golf R exists globally, there is no word yet on whether it will arrive in India.
